Festa della Croce Rossa Italiana in piazza della Repubblica: sabato 14 e domenica 15 giugno con dimostrazioni per il pubblico e distribuzione di materiale informativo
Il Comitato locale di Firenze organizza per il terzo anno consecutivo la Festa della Croce Rossa Italiana, sabato 14 e domenica 15 giugno dalle 10 alle 20 in Piazza della Repubblica per presentare ai cittadini parte delle numerose attività in cui la Croce Rossa è impegnata.
Saranno esposti mezzi e attrezzature, comprese le ambulanze quotidianamente impegnate nel soccorso di emergenza, con volontari qualificati a disposizione per fornire tutte le spiegazioni. In programma sia per la giornata di sabato che per quella di domenica anche dimostrazioni pratiche di tecniche di rianimazione di base per adulti e bambini, attività per ragazzi e misurazione della pressione gratuita. Tutte le componenti del Comitato Locale di Firenze saranno presenti con i propri volontari: il Comitato Femminile, i Pionieri, i Volontari del Soccorso.
Per tutto il pomeriggio di sabato (dalle 14 alle 20) sarà effettuato l’eccezionale annullo filatelico temporaneo sul francobollo prodotto da Poste Italiane in occasione del centenario della fondazione del gruppo delle Infermiere Volontarie.
Tra le attività dinamiche in programma, oltre alla misurazione gratuita della pressione arteriosa a cura delle Infermiere Volontarie, lezioni di tecnica di rianimazione cardio-polmonare (Basic Life Support) per il pubblico, alcune dedicate specificamente ai bambini; in “BLS bimbi” si insegnerà ai più piccoli anche come effettuare una chiamata di soccorso.
In piazza è prevista una postazione fissa con un’ambulanza in servizio per la centrale operativa del 118, mentre le unità di soccorso in bicicletta saranno occupate nella ricognizione delle zone più centrali della città . Presenti anche le unità cinofile che domenica dalle ore 16 si misureranno in un percorso ad ostacoli.
